- certo le circostanze non sono favorevoli
- e quando mai?
- bisognerebbe … bisognerebbe niente
- bisogna quello che è. Bisogna il presente
It’s sunday, the last sunday of May. After almost two week of bad weather, finally here in Oulu there’s again a beautiful sun. No clouds, no wind. I can cleary see the sea from the window of my room, and this is the last time I can do it, since I’m moving in Fabio’s flat this evening. It seems that everyone is still sleeping here in Linnanmaa, after a long saturday night. A lot of people, expecially spanish, are leaving today: that’s erasmus life, and it’s over. Maybe too early. And I’m quite cold, but I can perfectly smell this awesome scent coming from the seaside. It’s like being at Ponente.
So, from this overlapped collage of pictures, it is to understand that is a strange sunday. Eveny my contact lists in Skype and Gtalk are empty, no one is green. Only Giovanni Lindo Ferretti is singing by Winamp. I’m ready for the breakfast, a shower and then going to the university to work. It will be hard to stay inside the office today, I know, but a last effort for this month is required. Monday night, 1st of June, I hope everything can be over. At least for a while. Like yesterday sport events will my only companion for the day. So, let’s briefly review what happened yestardy and what’s going on today. Just in the case you wanna talk with me, you can be aware of the right topics.
Yesterday, in the evening, Cesena lost 1-2 at home against Gallipoli the return match of the italian “Lega Pro Super Cup” and so we’ve lost the cup. It’s a pity, but doesn’t matter so much. It would have been nice to win this minor competition, but absolutely not essentialy. The victory in the regular season it’s more than enough, it has been great. So, let’s continue celebrating, and possibily buying some good player for the next Serie B championsip.
Good news are arrived from the last day of the actual Serie B championship. Almost everything has appened in the last minutes. Until 20 minutes up to the conclusion, Ancona was loosing 3-1 away agains Cittadella and was basically without any hope dropped to Lega Pro, the third league (former Serie C1), Modena was condamned to play-out against Pisa and Rimini was in a safe position. In two minutes Ancona scored twice and went to 3-3 but stil was not enough, nothing changed. Something of really important has happened 7 minutes up to the end: Pinardi (Modena) scored in Trieste and the classification has been redrawn. Now Modena safe, Ancona still dropped and Rimini-Pisa as play-out. At the end of the regular time the situation was identical. But after 1 minute of extra time, Ancona scored again for the 4th time (Cittadella-Ancora 3-4) and won the match: still was not enough, after the end of the match Ancona was anyway virtually in Lega Pro. But in Pisa they were still playing, and in the second time of extra time Zambrella (Brescia) scored an incredible goal: while Ancona player were already crying, by the radio the got the news tha Pisa had lost and was dropped in Lega Pro and they could still be safe through play-out against Rimini.
Now, it’s true that I hate Turati, Anastasi and Piccoli and that I want to buy Mastronunzio, but I can’t avoid to support Ancona in this amazing play-off between two teams from Marche like Ancona and Rimini.
Then Giro d’Italia. After a Giro run as a child, only defening the second place against Basso, Sastre and Pellizotti (another real idiot), Danilo Di Luca has been finally defeated by Denis Menchov in the second last stage of this year. Now the leader of Rabobank has 20″ of advantage on the Lpr one, and in the finally stage of today (18 km time trial) I think there won’t be any surprise.
Then Serie A. The idiots of Torino are already virtually in Serie B (I still have something to say to these fuckin bastard that have stolen, aided by the refereeing Farina, a play off semifinal in 2006, against Cesena), and by the way this is not good because it means that Bologna next year will be again in Serie A. There are only few possibilty that Torino is going to win in Rome and Bologna is not able to defeat the idiots of Zenga (namely Catania). More interesting is the match between Fiorentina and Milan, that give access to the third place and then it means direct access to Champions League. Only Berlusconi, creating troubles, could have caused such a situation for Milan, that only 2 weekes ago was almost sure even of the second place.
To conclude the survey on the football day, let’s go to Lega Pro to have a look to some play-off and play-out. In Prima Divisione (former C1) Ravenna is playing in Padova for the semifinal of play-out. In Seconda Divisione, there are two more important matches. Bellaria is playing a very importan match at home against Cuoiopelli Cappiano (team from Santa Croce sull’Arno, not far from Florence). I hope that biancazzurri are not ending their beautiful adevnture in Lega Pro. Then, San Marino is at home, as well, for the second play out, against Poggibonsi (another team from Tuscany). The 7th of June the return matches, away for both these teams from Romagna.
Finally there’s MotoGp. But it’s a second order appointmend in this sport sunday.
